Short hike from the car park, long stand at the summit tower while the wind made a genuine nuisance of itself. The squid pole wanted to be a sail; took three tries and a guy rope to convince it otherwise.

Forty metres on CW was a surprise — normally I lead with SSB, but the QRM was lighter on CW this afternoon. Worked a long cluster of DL and OE, one S2S with a friend on DM/BM-176, and a clean run of SSB once the wind dropped.

Packed up when the coffee in the thermos started behaving like a slushie.
